Oscar Wilde Reading:
The Importance of Being Earnest

Tom Walsh (green shirt) plays an excellent Algernon.

Erica Pinkston's wonderfully furnished home is the setting of the reading.

Oklahoma Congressman Ernest Istook, who played the part of Lane, serves as the night's Honorary Earnest.

Erica Pinkston (left), the night's host, is a lively, delightful Lady Bracknell. Micah, Peter, and Tracey and Kevin Johnson follow along.

Congressman Istook recounts his radio days and the importance of not being Ernest.

Come join us for what must be one of the funniest plays ever written: Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest (A Trivial Comedy for Serious People). We've got a pretty impressive cast :-), but if you're dying to read a part I'm sure a few of us (including me) might be willing to bow out.

What: Reading of Oscar Wilde's play, The Importance of Being Earnest
